You can tell that Norwegians expect their kids to grow up tough and practical by the games the children play. This one involves hammering nails into a piece of wood — it's a surprising amount of fun, especially when done as a race.
This picture also shows a basic mistake I keep making when taking photographs. When I shot it I thought the picture was about the conversation the two kids at the back were having so they got the focus. When I saw it though it was clear that the photo was about the conversation in the foreground. The upshot is that the foreground is slightly out of focus, but that probably isn't going to be too noticeable on the small image to the right as the depth of field wasn't too narrow.
