Whatever information this site collects about anybody who visits will never be passed to any other person, body, organisation, government etc. It's really that simple.

I can't however promise what any of the ISPs between my server and your machine will do and nor can I promise anything about any intervening governments. I suggest reading Bruce Schneier's blog and joining the Open Rights Group if you think you may be concerned about these things (and after reading a bit more about it I think you probably will be).

I don't check the privacy statements of other sites that I link to from articles. You should always check them for yourself. Remember that off-site links are in gray and on-site links are in blue.

Registration details

As a registered user automated emails will be sent to you under the following conditions:

  1. A post is made as a direct reply to a post you have made in the forums. You will not receive notification for a post in another thread or a post in the same thread that is not a direct reply to one of your posts.
  2. A login attempt with your user name that proves unsuccesful. This will typically occur when the password is wrong. This email does not contain a password.

If you want to remove your details from the system then email k at kirit dot com and I will delete your user account.

Traffic analysis

I use Sitemeter and Google Analytics to help me track visitors to the site.

Sitemeter has a privacy statement that you should read too. Google has a much more complex privacy policy.
